Telecom BSS/OSS Test Lead & Testers

Job Description:

  • For Lead: Overall IT Industry Experience: 6+ years
  • Mandatory Hands-on Telecom BSS/OSS Testing Experience: 3+ years.
  • For Tester: Overall IT industry experience: 3 years. 
  • Relevant hands-on BSS/OSS experience: 2 years.
  • E2E Telecom BSS/ OSS testing: Test Planning, Test delivery management.
  • Prepare & Execute Test Plans and Test Cases.
  • Define and Implement Industry Standard Quality processes and procedures. 
  • Demonstrated experience of participating in Test Activities right from Project Inception through Production Deployment (demonstrate sound knowledge of activities in each phase) 
  • Plan, deploy and manage the testing effort for projects/ releases.
  • Knowledge of E2E telecom OSS/ BSS testing which involves Mediation, Billing Systems, CRM, E-Business, Web Self-care, Data Warehousing/BI & Analytics, Provisioning Systems, Service Assurance, Network Inventory, Network Care/Intelligence, Fraud Management etc. 
  • Prefer Knowledge and Experience in Oracle Telecom Stack of Products (BRM, OSM, UIM, NI, ASAP), and/or, Open Source Telecom Suite of Products.
  • Thorough Knowledge and Experience in Billing LifeCycle, Service LifeCycle.
  • Knowledge and experience in Blackbox and Whitebox Testing.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), Testing-as-a-Service. 
  • Prior experience in Data Migration testing is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Functional, Performance, Security testing frameworks, tools and processes.
  • Experience in using Test Automation Tools such as Selenium etc. 
  • Prepare and Manage SLA. 
  • Preparing Weekly/ Monthly report and presenting it to management.
  • Understanding and implementation of Test Automation is a plus.
